Full Journal pdf1995-05-08 Senate Journal Page 1642 HB 237 Message dated May 6 was read, stating the House failed to concur in the Senate amendment to CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 237(JUD) am "An Act relating to workers' compensation insurance rate filings; to second independent medical evaluations for workers' compensation claims; to confidentiality of workers' compensation medical and rehabilitation information; to immunity for third-party design professionals from civil actions by recipients of workers' compensation benefits; to workers' compensation death benefits; to 1995-05-08 Senate Journal Page 1643 HB 237 computation of workers' compensation benefits; to penalties for fraudulent acts related to workers' compensation; to immunity for employer workplace safety inspections related to workers' compensation insurance; and providing for an effective date" and respectfully requests the Senate to recede from its amendment, namely: SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 237(JUD)(efd fld S) "An Act relating to workers' compensation insurance rate filings; to second independent medical evaluations for workers' compensation claims; to confidentiality of workers' compensation medical and rehabilitation information; to immunity for third-party design professionals from civil actions by recipients of workers' compensation benefits; to workers' compensation death benefits; to computation of workers' compensation benefits; to penalties for fraudulent acts related to workers' compensation; to immunity for employer workplace safety inspections related to workers' compensation insurance." In the event the Senate fails to recede, the Speaker has appointed the following members to a Conference Committee to meet with a like committee from the Senate to consider the bills: Representative Kott, Chair Representative Porter Representative Brice Senator Halford moved that the Senate recede from its amendment and recommended the body vote no. The President appointed the following members to a Conference Committee to meet with the like committee from the House: Senator Taylor, Chair Senator Kelly Senator Adams The Secretary was requested to notify the House.
